Drawmer DS501 Power Gate Product Details
The DS501 is a sophisticated Punch 2-channel noise gate with fully tunable peak and contains a wealth of audio engineers for many essential features that are not found in conventional noise gates.
Located in the Drawmer range above the industry standard DS201, DS501 which a new dual, tunable Peak Punch mode has for each channel. The tunable mode the user can influence a selector with a frequency range from 75Hz to 16kHz, the transients of the gated signal, and "agree" to a specific region of the spectrum, where the peak will be Punch. An additional controller can be adjusted while the degree of influence accurately. A second full-range Peak Punch mode is also available.
Developed primarily for the gating percussive signals, it is the tuneable Peak Punch manages the processing of transients, add a single sound more punch and gives the gated signal to more definition and presence in the mix.
Punch low-frequency peak gives thin drum sounds more volume, while high-frequency peak punch rim shots, or the attack of a snare can dynamically increase.
