The Epiphone Les Paul Standard 60s Bourbon Burst comes from Epiphone's "Inspired by Gibson™ Collection" and reproduces the sound of the Les Pauls from the 60s. Features include a classic mahogany body with maple cap, Grover® tuners and ProBucker™ humbuckers with CTS® pots. Epiphone's long friendship with Mr. Les Paul began in 1940, when Les spent evenings experimenting in what was then the Epiphone factory in Manhattan, building one of the world's first solid-body electric guitars. Les' first solid-body guitar, nicknamed "The Log", inspired the Les Paul Standard, which many consider to be the greatest electric guitar ever made.
