Epiphone is proud to present the third signature model developed in collaboration with the exceptionally talented Matt Heafy of Trivium - the Matt Heafy Les Paul™ Custom Origins. It features a pair of custom-tuned Fishman Fluence® pickups. Each delivers three different tonalities. The Alnico pickup on the neck offers a modern, active Alnico Humbucker™ sound with high output, a crisp, clean and liquid neck humbucker sound, and a glassy hi-fi single-coil sound. The ceramic pickup on the bridge offers a choice of a modern, high output active ceramic humbucker tone, a high output passive ceramic humbucker tone, and a cutting, overdriven single coil sound. These tone options are selected with push/pull pots for volume and tone. The mahogany body with maple top has modern weight relief for hours of comfortable playing, and the mahogany neck features a fast-playing SpeedTaper™ D profile and contoured edge for excellent access to the upper frets. Gold hardware, including locking Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with Tulip tuners, and classic Les Paul custom looks make this guitar a showstopper on stage. Available in Ebony and Bone White gloss finishes. A custom hardshell case is included.
