The Epiphone Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins electric guitar is the third signature model developed in collaboration with the exceptionally talented Matt Heafy of Trivium.

It features a pair of specially tuned Fishman Fluence® pickups. Each delivers three different tones. The Alnico pickup on the neck offers a modern, active Alnico Humbucker™ sound with high output, a crisp, clean and fluid neck humbucker sound and a glassy hi-fi single-coil sound.

The ceramic bridge pickup offers a choice between a modern, high-output active ceramic humbucker tone, a high-output passive ceramic humbucker tone and a cutting, overdriven single-coil sound.

These sound options are selected with push/pull potentiometers for volume and tone. The mahogany body with maple top has modern weight relief for hours of comfortable playing, and the mahogany neck features a fast-playing SpeedTaper™ D profile and a contoured edge for excellent access to the upper frets. Gold-colored hardware, including lockable Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with tulip tuners, and the classic Les Paul Custom look make this guitar a real eye-catcher on stage. A customized hard case is included.
