LTD 1000 Series guitars are designed to deliver the tone, feel, look and quality that professional musicians expect from an instrument. The EC-1000T/CTM is an instant classic with its traditional, full-length single cutaway mahogany body shape (no waist) and a classy flamed maple top in Violet Shadow finish. The "CTM" stands for the custom multi-ply binding, which can be found on the front and back of the body as well as on the neck and headstock. Details such as a matching headstock made of flamed maple also make this guitar stand out from the crowd. With the direct-mount Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic humbucker pickups, the EC-1000T/CTM can produce virtually any tone. Each pickup offers three voicings that can be selected with push-pull controls. On the neck pickup, Voice 1 offers the coveted vintage PAF tone, Voice 2 is an airy chime tone and Voice 3 is a vintage single coil. For the bridge pickup, voice 1 is the PAF tone, voice 2 is the classic hot-rodded humbucker and voice 3 is an overdriven single coil. The resulting tonal versatility of this guitar is astounding. The EC-1000T/CTM also features a Macassar ebony fingerboard with white ESP flag inlays and 22 extra jumbo stainless steel frets, LTD locking tuners and a TonePro locking TOM bridge and tailpiece.
