ESP Ltd EC-1000T CTM Vintage Gold Satin E-Gitarre Product Details
With the EC-1000T/CTM Vintage Gold Satin, you get the overall feel of an outstanding vintage instrument that has rocked hard for years, but with the most modern components and ease of playability imaginable. The "T" stands for traditional and refers to the mahogany body shape with a continuous cutaway (no waist cut). The "CTM" stands for Custom Multi-Ply binding, which is found on both the front and back of the body as well as the neck and headstock. The finish on this guitar has been carefully matched to the natural yellowing of a decades-old guitar, and when combined with the gold hardware, including a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, and locking LTD tuners, looks like it came straight out of the hard-rocking 1970s. The three-piece mahogany neck features a macassar ebony fingerboard with white ESP flag inlays and 22 extra jumbo stainless steel frets. The EC-1000T/CTM's tone is produced by a set of direct-mount Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic humbucker pickups. Each pickup offers three voicings that can be selected with push-pull controls. For the neck pickup, Voice 1 offers the coveted vintage PAF tone, Voice 2 is an airy chime tone, and Voice 3 is a vintage single coil. For the bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the PAF tone, Voice 2 is the classic hot-rodded humbucker, and Voice 3 is an overdriven single-coil.
