The sound of the G2655T-P90 is the perfect blend of bold and muscular with a spruce chamber block that is pushed to the limit by the brand new Gretsch FideliSonic ™ 90 pickups. driven to the limits. These single-coil 90 pickups retain the full warm tone of a traditional P90 with a pronounced top end that is articulate and clearly defined. clearly defined. A lightweight spruce center block runs the length of the mahogany body, reinforcing the arched top and eliminating unwanted feedback for a volume-friendly performance on modern stages.
The Streamliner's sonic performance is harnessed and shaped by the traditional control layout - volume controls for neck and bridge pickups, master tone control, master volume and three-way switch. Add some shimmer and expression to your playing with the Bigsby®-licensed B50 vibrato, while the anchored Adjusto-Matic™ bridge and synthetic bone nut offer amazing tuning stability and precise intonation.
