KME DA 428 multi-channel amplifier

Based on K.M.E.'s proven and consistent digital amplifier technology, the DA428 multi-channel power amplifier with a power of 700 W per channel is the first product of a new series. The compact, lightweight 19"-2U unit contains comprehensive audio DSP functions such as matrix router, 6 fully parametric EQs, 2 crossovers, delay and dynamics processor per channel.All parameters of these modules as well as further inputs can be conveniently set by the user via the 5-button navigation pad and 4 rotary encoders with push-button function. A graphics-capable LCD display and 4 RGB LEDs form the output interface of the sophisticated professional user interface and also provide information about current operating parameters of the device such as input and output levels as well as the status of the individual channels.

Of course, factory and user presets can be stored in the unit, and an SD memory card slot is available for temporary storage of presets and other parameters, and especially for convenient transfer to other units. An editor software as well as various firmware add-on modules are in preparation.On the input side 4 analog or 2 digital connectors are available which can also be used mixed, furthermore link sockets for the used input signal or as >processed<- digital outputs are available. As digital input signals AES/EBU as well as SPDIF with 16-24 bit and 32-192 kHz each are accepted, generated by the device is AES/EBU with 24Bit and 48 kHz.

A module slot has also been integrated for future expansions such as connection to audio and control networks, which is equipped as standard with the RSNC standard module, which includes an RS232 interface and an NC signalling contact. This means that comprehensive remote control and remote monitoring functionality has been provided for, and simple remote control operations can already be carried out with devices supplied in serial form.

The DA428 is completely "developed and made in Germany" and also offers an attractive price-performance ratio.
