Marshall AVT 150 X Product Details
Both the Marshall AVT150X and Marshall AVT150HX boasts more channels and features than any Valvestate amplifier before. Their four channels are: Acoustic Simulator, Clean, Overdrive 1 and Overdrive 2. The Clean, Overdrive 1 and Overdrive 2 channels are identical in terms of voicing and features to those found on the Marshall AVT100X. As its name suggests, the Acoustics Simulator channel transformers the sound of a standard electric guitar into that of an acoustic guitar with amazing authenticity.
Referring to a Guitarist magazinreview:"The Acoustic Simulator is a brillant idea - a first for a non-digital amp - and the tonal effect is extremely convicing with single coil pickups, allowing a guitarist to switch instantly from electric to acoustic sounds without changing guitars or amps."
For even further flexibility, the Marshall AVT150X and Marshall AVT150HX house a pair of adjustable DFX Sections - one for the Acoustics/Clean channels and the other for Overdrive 1/Overdrive 2. Both DFX Sections are on/off footswitchable via the supplied 6-way LED footcontroller.
