Technical Details of the Sonor Primary KSP 50 X Grand Bass Sound Module "f#" (F-sharp)

The soundboard of this sound module is 44 mm wide and 20 mm thick—dimensions that are optimally tailored to the needs of music education. The natural finish highlights the elegant grain of the Pao Rosa wood and underscores the instrument’s high-quality appearance. Thanks to the meticulous craftsmanship, it produces a clear, resonant sound that comes into its own when played together with other sound modules.

The sound bar is tuned to the note “F-sharp” (F#) in fundamental tuning. This tuning ensures a particularly clear and pure sound without dominant overtones—perfect for musical learning processes in which pitch and timbre need to be clearly discernible.

The birch plywood soundbox is precisely matched to the sound plate and provides powerful sound amplification. The combination of a high-quality soundbox and a precisely tuned soundboard results in a full-bodied, deep, and balanced sound that works well in both small groups and larger musical ensembles.

As with all handcrafted instruments in the Sonor Primary series, there may be slight variations in the dimensions of the soundboard. These arise from the precise tuning process and the natural properties of the wood—a sign of the high level of craftsmanship behind every single sound module.
