With the John Petrucci 7 JP70 BKS, Sterling offers the inexpensive entry into the world of Music Man guitars. The guitar with the SBMM design bridge, which is based on the Floyd Rose tremolo, has black locking mechanics. The body is made of lime tree, which promises an open sound with a good attack, the maple neck is equipped with a classic rosewood fingerboard. The sound transmission is done by two high-output humbuckers from Sterling .
