Yamaha Subkick SKRM 100 Product Details
The base of the SUBKICKs forms a 7-ply 10 "x 5" birch / mahogany shells, was housed in the interior of a specially designed woofer pickup system. Thanks to its large surface area, the system (16cm diameter) in a position to even the lowest frequencies of a bass drum confidently and safely accommodate (50Hz-2000Hz). Frequency Capture Devices designed specifically for use in combination with a standard kick Micro Set and supplies in the tandem mode, extremely powerful and punchy bass drum sound in a quality never before heard. But even with the loss of floor toms, bass, or deep-sounding horns, the system has already proven.
Since the respective positioning of SUBKICKS has a significant share of the delivered sound, may be worth experimenting with various settings perfectly. Depending on whether the system is sound hole in front of the bass drum, or is placed at different distances from the skin, it delivers a high quality in sound and volume of varying range of drum sounds - and, of course, in both live as in studio applications.
