The Pioneer DJM-S7 is a 2-channel battle mixer. This new DJ mixer gives DJs the freedom to customize a setup and bring their own unique style to every performance. The mixer not only enables free use of Serato DJ Pro, but is also a hardware unlock device for rekordbox. This means that the performance functions can be used perfectly in both applications.

Anyone who has already DJed with the DJM-S11 will immediately feel at home with the clear layout of the DJM-S7. Thanks to the large load button and the 16 performance pads (8 per deck), selecting tracks and triggering samples and features in an energetic set is child's play. Of course, all 22 beat FX of the DJM-S11 are also on board the DJM-S7. Effects can be activated via the animated effect levers, as well as software effects. The pad modes work independently of each other, so you can trigger hot cues on channel 1 and use roll on channel 2 at the same time, for example. The Magvel-Fader-Pro guarantees smooth and reliable crossfader performance.

Thanks to the mixer's Bluetooth connectivity, sets can be easily enriched with new sounds by playing tracks wirelessly directly from a smartphone. These can be loops that you want to scratch over or one-shots that are triggered. The sounds are simply routed directly to the master output or to one of the channels to be heard together with the other signals currently running on the respective deck. A brand new feature is Loop MIDI, which is only available on the DJM-S7. It allows you to use the effect lever to send MIDI commands to Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox. This opens up exciting possibilities for controlling performance functions rhythmically.

With the Pioneer DJM-S7, the performance functions of Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox are available free of charge, including DVS control in both applications. Once the mixer is connected to a PC/Mac running the latest version of Serato DJ Pro or the latest version of rekordbox, the software is unlocked.
