PRS MT 15 Head Product Details
Designed in collaboration with Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti, the PRS MT 15 Head delivers an incredibly flexible sound in a surprisingly compact and - for a tube amp - very light package of 8.1kg. tube amplifier - very light package, which of course does not do without a robust metal housing. The clean channel takes its cue from the crisp, pearly sound of the signature guitarist, also reproduces single coil fingerpicking cleanly at all times and has a completely separate 3-band EQ section from the gain channel. The distorted channel itself starts with a bluesy lead sound and quickly goes and quickly transitions to a hard rock sound before turning into a brute, but always differentiated modern metal tone from about the 12 o'clock knob position, which can also be used with drop-tuning and 7/8-string guitars perfectly.
