Zoom MSH-6

The Zoom MSH-6 is an accessory capsule. It is familiar from the H6 and is now available separately, so you can expand the capabilities of your H5 recorder enormously. Get into the M/S recording technique ("center side"): a fantastic process that allows you to change the stereo base width even after recording. This makes this technology particularly useful for use in film, video and television projects.

The MSH-6 capsule contains two microphone elements - a forward-facing unidirectional microphone (the "Mid") and a side-facing bidirectional microphone (the "Side").

Together with the integrated MS decoder of the H5/H6, you capture a fully mono-compatible stereo image that can actually be adjusted after recording.
